Honeywell thermostat t8112d1005.I changed the batteries. The temperature keeps blinking. How do I fix It

Try adjusting the heat range up. Set it a 77 then try the cool.
I believe the Honeywells have a max range between cool and heat.
also sometimes there is a lock out code on them you'll need the book.

the unit has a split line where to top meets the base plate pull on the bottom side with your fingernails at the split line and it will pop free it will take some force batteries are accessable after that, just line up and push to reinstall
