SOURCE: F & P Double Drawer

Are you sure of the model?? flash a U3 the following is from The FP Manual on the DD-603 Model...........

The last two faults are logged into EE memory.
The other U (user) faults have been removed. The old U2 fault, which was the tub forced open during a cycle, has
been removed completely. Instead if the tub is forced open the product simply pauses as if someone had pressed
the start/pause button. The old U3 fault, which indicated a failure to drain i.e. water left in the tub, will not show up a
fault and the DishDrawer will continue through the cycle

My double drawer kitchenaid dishwasher sold red light and beeping during cycle wont turn off and runs even with door open, turned breaker off

If you using upper or lower drawer and this shows up it means the dishwasher has water under the filter board which located on the bottom under the lower drawer. You have to disconnected power, removed the lower drawer, clean the water, replaced filter board, check the dishwasher for leaking.

What is f5 error on single drawer

Top drawer can not be open

If this is a double drawer dishwasher and bottom drawing is functional but top drawer won't open means the controller on top drawer is faulty or power circuit is locked. If turning the mains power off and back on makes no difference then controller could be the problem. One way to test is to take the controller from bottom drawer and replace that in the top drawer. This requires a lot of patience and experience with electronic stuff. If you are not brave enough to test then call the technician. The controller is about $200 to buy. Make sure the mains power socket is taken out before working on the dishwasher internals.

Keep blowing fuses

This means there is water collected on the base of the dishwasher cabinet under the bottom drawer. You will need to disconnect the dishwasher mains plug and take the bottom drawer out to dry the base out. Follow instructions in this manual (page 7 step 2) to remove the drawer.

Dishwasher showing F5 with a spanner

F5 code involves the drawer lid seal and will need a bit of effort to check and fix.

Take the drawer out and inspect the inside of the top panel for a rubber strip. If it is broken or not responding to up down movement then it needs to be replaced. In addition the actuator motors on each side that drive the seal could be faulty.

If you are not comfortable with repairing slightly complex apliances then you may have to call the technician.

My dish draw **** up with a service code f 1 , what does this mean

This can mean several things. If you have double drawer dishwasher then you need to confirm if you get the F1 message in both drawers or just one.
If both drawers then it is caused by water leakage and flood switch activiates. If only in one drawer then the power supply to the other drawer is blown.
For single unit drawer it means flood switch triggered.

Dishwasher initially not draining came up with another error code, however now after fiddling F1 code which says online wet service panel and to take out draws... We can't work out how the drawers com

At the end of the rails which the drawers slide in and out on should have some sort of pin that can be removed which would allow the drawers to slide all of the way out. Just be sure not to damage the pins/clips when removing so that they can be used again when putting the drawers back in.

How do i fix an F5 error code on a Fisher & Paykel Dishdraw DS605. I have turned the power off but the error keeps returning?

I am assuming you have the DD605 double drawer dishwasher. Is the problem F5 on both drawers or just one?

F5 code involves the drawer lid seal and will need a bit of effort to check and fix.

Take the drawer out and inspect the inside of the top panel for a black rubber strip. If it is broken or not responding to up down movement then it needs to be replaced. In addition the actuator motors on each side that drive the seal could be faulty.

If you are not comfortable with repairing slightly complex apliances then you may have to call the technician.
