Garmin radar not working sent a code 5! what does this mean

After black out of ship during audit Radar Model JMA 9303 no work.
Radar start work and after 15 sec. switch off.
Radar not show target and display error "ANTCLK ER" ( Bearing pulses are not
sent to the display unit)and "TRIG ERR" unknown error.

no the garmin 255W is not a radar or laser detector.

you need to have heading coming into the radar from an autopilot or heading sensor for that to work. if you see your heading on the radar..Not COG and you can not get overlay then the radar has a problem and needs to be sent in for repair.

this is a gps navigation device. there is no radar detection with it. the only thing it has is an FM traffic service to avoid delays, which may not be available in france. in short, this device is not illeagel nor does it have any type or radar detection or even speed camera detection.

VG-2 is a technology that police use to detect radar detectors. Detectors with this feature will detect when VG-2 is in use, and alert you to its presence.
