My almost new Bushnell rangefinder has moisture in it after I got rained on yesterday. Cannot even see light through the lens when looking at the sun. Any ideas on how to fix this?
I think you should contact manufacturer, or special service. I use ATN LaserBallistics 1500 and it is pro. Water proofed. Weight is good. Nice leather pouch and wrist strap. Long life. I found it here https://www.atncorp.com/range-finder
Are they supposed to be waterproof? If so, return them.

yes. it should be a fairly easy job, just be careful when removing the glass, and make sure you get your headlight re-alligned when it is done, as it will fail its mot if not done.

If when you look through the eyepiece and see some lite yellowish, lite greenish, oily looking wiggles, (sometimes black) spots you have thermal burns on the LCD display. This happens when the eyepiece cap isn't used and sunlight damages the surface of the display. The unit was left pointing skyward for too long. Most players take off the cap and don't use it. Bad decision. Bushnell can repair but, about $80+shipping......4-6 weeks without unit

Note most scope manufacturers offer a mail in repair service, this has to be cheaper than discarding your scope and buying a new one :)

All these units need an alignment....Vibration and dropping are slow death to Pinseekers.

Remove the rear vent and run a load. If it dries correctly, repair the vent blockage.
If not, replace the gas valve coils.

It is annoying when water gets in one of your components and ruins everything. All scopes and rangefinders should be waterproof and nothing like that should ever happen. I hope you managed to fix yours, but it is better to use the best equipment possible. I never hunt without my hunting rangefinder that I bought on https://www.atncorp.com/range-finder because it is really easy to hunt with it. The model i use is ATN AUXILIARY BALLISTIC LASER 1500 and it is the best. It is waterproof and it is great to use with any scope, but amazing with ATN HD scopes. I have their scope and rangefinder and I never had any problems.
