I can only figure that the cabinet is Not part of the TV's normal design and it has been just sitting on this cabinet for a long while?
If this is so then it has by weight and heat sweated itself onto the top, synthetic feet are made of complex materials including oils which get exuded then form a quite powerful glue action, also that spray polish has baulking agents to make it look good in use these act as glue.

If this top is glass then its pretty well resistent to most things, try windolene glass spray its safe and dissolves many things on glass as a cleaner (or other surfaces). Move up to say WD40 a mineral oil again safe wipe clean with meths spirit to clean up just add in a bit of tilting to break that grip.

My ex-husband threw away the pedestal stand for the Polaroid Polaroid FXM-3211C TV DVD Combo which I now have. I need a pedestal stand....do you know where I can find one?

I might have one from a 42" maxent plasma that could fit on your plasma.
I will measure it and post the the dimentions if you're interested.

The screw holes are metric. The set is supplied with M5x25 screws to attach the pedestal, so the wall mount screws will be in that same range.

do you have the small feet as shown in the picture? are they in your closet?

Assume you are mounting on the wall, if so a good mount will have the standard bolts in the package. If this is a used mount, you will need to determine the length based on the mount, the bolt size is either 1/4" or 5/16", probably the latter.
