SOURCE: Please help me, i am struggling to wipe my fitbit charge 2

the easiest way to put it in factory reset mode is to unpair it from your account.
or reset

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You'll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker's display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

SOURCE: My Fitbit Charge 2 has quit showing text messages. It no longer prompts me at 10 to the hour to finish getting 250 steps. I had relied on that and it really got me going. What has happened??

It sounds like you need to re-sync it.

My Charge Fitbit is not holding a charge. Yesterday it was dead within 1.5 hours. I have used the paperclip to try to reset without success. I am ready to throw in the towel so to speak.

You can put the software right, with a reset. Hardware errors and batteries won't change a bit when you use the reset button. When the battery is bad, and it looks that way, just return the Fitbit and ask for a new or new battery. It still should be under warranty. If the warranty is only 90 days for the battery, never again buy a Fitbit in the place you are living. In Europe electronics have a warranty of 24 months.
