Is it gas or electric, make and model? Sounds like there is an issue with the temperature sensor.

When my Rayburn reaches temperature instead of cutting out and restarting automatically, it trips out, so I have allow the temperature drop and reset the trip each time. anyone have this problem ?

If your Rayburn stove is tripping the thermal cut-out when it reaches temperature instead of cutting out and restarting automatically, there may be a few different causes.
  1. Check the thermostat: Make sure the thermostat is properly calibrated and functioning correctly. If it is not, it can cause the stove to overheat and trip the thermal cut-out.
  2. Check the thermal cut-out: Make sure the thermal cut-out is not faulty. If it is, it may need to be replaced.
  3. Check the temperature control: If the temperature control is not functioning correctly, it can cause the stove to overheat and trip the thermal cut-out.
  4. Check the combustion chamber: If the combustion chamber is dirty or blocked, it can cause the stove to overheat and trip the thermal cut-out.
  5. Check the flue: If the flue is blocked or not functioning correctly, it can cause the stove to overheat and trip the thermal cut-out.
  6. If none of the above steps work, it is possible that the stove has a more serious problem that requires professional service.
It is important to refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for specific troubleshooting steps for your Rayburn stove model. It is also important to make sure the stove is not plugged in before attempting any troubleshooting steps. If the problem persists after trying the above steps, it is recommended to have a professional technician to look at the stove and diagnose the problem.
Hotpoint FDEU 9640 washer dryer - stops during dry cycle with all LEDs flashing amber Hotpoint FDEU 9640 washer dryer - stops during dry cycle with super wash, slow spin, time saver, eco wash and start/pause buttons all flashing. Spin light is steady on. Then about 5 mins later the door unlocks. Wash cycles complete with no apparent issue but drying cycles are stopping prematurely. I have tried auto clean but this trips the electrics. Checked the pump and pipes no blockages. I have opened up the heater unit and that looks clean plus the seals and connections all visibly look good but I don't have a multi meter to test. Please help with any advice - thanks

What is A1, A2 referring to on the machine display panel

If it is the lower display with the 2 green digits, then that is referring to hours of service since last brush clean cycle. It is just a timer. Once it reaches 99, it start to use letters and numbers, so A1 would be 101 hours since last brush clean. b1 would be 111 hours and so on. To clear this the machine must recognize a brush clean cycle. the next time you clean your freezer door, make sure the power switch is off. it will display a 5 minute timer and 4 temperature readings. All 4 of those temperature readings must be above 60 degrees Fahrenheit and remain above 60 for 5 minutes. If at any point the temps drop below 60, the timer will reset. The freezer door must remain off the machine during this time. Once the timer reaches 0, the machine will enter a Unit Cleaned state and you can reassemble the machine.

While oven on range top front is very hot

I do not know the unit but check if the oven vent is near the front. It is also possible the door seal on the top of the door is failing.

Light and flame effect not coming on dimplex springborne electric stove.

The light bulbs that provide the flame effect, may have burned out. You can access the bulbs by remove a rectangular access panel on the back of the stove, just above the bottom edge of the stove. Be sure to turn the unit OFF and unplug it before attempting the bulb replacement. The bulb type is 60 watt, small base, clear chandelier bulb.

I hope this helps you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Flame effect has stopped but fans still working. Can it be repaired. I am in Christchurch.

More than likely, the bulbs that produce the fame effect have burned out and need to be replaced.

Robyn, you can access the bulbs by removing the rectangular cover on the back of the stove. It's located just above the bottom edge on of the back cover. The bulbs are 60 watt, small base chandelier bulbs. They simply unscrew to remove. Be sure to unplug the unit, before attempting any maintenance.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Extra sound comes above 65kmph

Hi,

When you push the vehicle above 60 kmph, it will be in top gear and will reach around 5000rpm.
During this time engine will make higher noise than normal. That is usual.

Can you put and over-the-counter microwave over a stove?

Yes, that is what they are made for, As long as it has a vent that can be used to vent the smoke from cooking it can be mounted over the stove. Normally the bottom of the microwave should be mounted 16" to 19" above the stove top. The microwave must have a vent with a blower motor in order to be used above a stove top. Most have a thermal switch that will turn the microwave vent on once the temperature reaches a set point.
