hi i ave a miele upright red vacuum, i just replaced the cord three days ago. its really easy. behind where the handle connects to the body of vacuum, in other words where the metal meets plastic there is a small opening its basically to undo the top part of handle from the body, push in the plastic small piece and at same time pull up on handle once it comes of you will have the whole cord seperated from vacuum, unfortunately to get a replacement you need to buy the whole top handle part because it is connected to the cord
try getting a plastic wedge to place in the top of the door jamb and then try using a metal clothes hanger shaped to however you need it to reach and latch the door handle to open it (or power door locks if you have them) otherwise call a locksmith or AAA.
Hi at the top of the Cyclone there is a lever underneath the Handle. The Handle I am referring to says Dyson on it. Firstly you must release the Cyclone from the spine. After doing this you will be left with the Cyclone and the Cyclone Bin all in a oner.
To empty the bin you must lift the lever which is underneath the Dyson handle.
You can only seperate the bin from the cyclone whilst the bin flap is open.
Once you have opened the bin flap using the lever you can then use the lever and catch to seperate the 2 items.
if you look at the latching mechanism on the bottom of the door, you will see two metal teeth. If they are close together, you will have to have somone hold the handle like they were opening the door and use a screwdriver to seperate or open the teeth. Then you shold be able to close the door. Hope this helps :)
Manually UNLOCK the door button or slide. HOLDING the OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE in the OPEN position, with your other hands finger, LIFT OPEN the latch, and close your door. Hope this helps.
Removing the casing of a notebook is a tough job. Even after removing the screws, the covers won't come out. The reason being the clip locks aroung the edge.
Slowly pull apart the two sides (top and bottom) from one place and push a screwdriver through the opening. (Don't push it too far or you will damage the circuitry). Push another flat screwdriver inside close to the first one. Slowly drag the second one along the edge. If the casing resists opening at one place that means there is a clip lock there. Slowly push the screwdriver handle downwards. If you are lucky, the lock will open. If it doesn't work push the screwdriver handle upwards. (I've not opened this particular type of computer, so you have to check and see).
Once a lock opens insert the first screwdriver there to prevent it from closing again.
Slowly work around the edge to open all locks.
Happened to me too today. As I was pulling the handle, a piece inside snapped. The handle felt loose, as though it wasn't pulling the catch. To get the door open, I used a screwdriver. I pulled the handle as far out as I could, so that I could get the screwdriver in. The dark black metal part has to be levered away from the washing machine - in the direction the door would open. That will release the catch and then the door will open.
After the door is open, the challenge is to remove the handle. You'll need to undo all 10 (or so - from memory) of the little screws, so that the inner part of the door comes off. Be careful as you get to the last one - things will fall away. The handle and the small broken tab just fell out for me. Once the handle is out, you can put the door back together again. I use a small hex key to help open (and close) the door. With no handle, the catch springs a bit too far over for the door to close, so you'll need something (e.g. 1/8" hex key) to hold it over a little. So now, I can use the washing machine while I try to find a new part.
To start with , stick the little red nozzle from WD-40 in the key slot as far as you can & spray real good in there. Can you hear lock "thump" when you hit remote for unlock, or open?
