Question about Mitsubishi Heating & Cooling
14 flashes is a fault code. You need to determine which light is flashing and look at an online Mitsubishi fault code analysis chart for your model. The light(s) that flash determine the fault. Power, defrost, timer light flash all mean something different.

P8 refers to outdoor protection device activation usually caused by low gas charge or blocked condenser coil. any good a/c company can resolve this for you. however please note that if it is gas related a pressure test must be carried out to determine where that potential leak may be and that can be very costly.
