I can't add any songs onto my Zen Nano Plus

My Zen was working fine, until it said the drive was "full." I deleted majority of the songs off of it but when i tried to sync some more songs on it [using Windows Media Player] - it said that the songs "did not fit onto the device."

It's supposed to have 950 something MB on it and only 300 something is actually used - but it says it's still "full." Any help here?

Well, i bought a creative zen nano MP3 player & once i had downloaded all my songs, a few months or so i wwanted to delete everything. so i did; but when i tried to add songs again it said i had no...

Are you connecting to your computer, opening the player and deleting them that way?
If so, try emptying the trash/recycle bin before unplugging.
The files are marked to be deleted, but are still there, that's how you can get them back out of trash.
This is not a problem on a disk drive with lots of space, but if it was full before deleting, there is still no spare space until you get rid of the files completely.

How do i delete files on my zen nano plus?

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,
right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BE CAREFUL and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

When i record songs it's all one track

The guide for Zen nano plus:
http://files2.europe.creative.com/manualdn/Manuals/TSD/8899/0xBA9C626B/Zen%20Nano%20Plus%20Quick%20Start%20Multilingual.pdf
It seems that pauzes between the tracks do not seperate them into
split up songs onto the player.

Support for Zen nano plus on this site:

You can rip audio CD using:
1. "application software" (getting a download from the support site) or
2. Windows Media Player 10 or 11 (WMP11 preferred).****
2.1 ****When making connection with the correct database,
songs will get the corresponding MP3 tags / names.

Lost intallation cd for zen nano plus mp3 player

look in the back of the player or the booklets for the exact model number. Most current electronic websites will have a support area. Look up your model number and see if it has software downloads. Most modern mp3 players will have online software that you can download if you lost the disk. Some smaller players may be just drag and drop. Also if you are running XP or below, make sure that the OS is recognizing the device, if not, make sure device is connected, go to control panel, click add/remove hardware and have it search for connected devices. If it still can't find it, go to the Creative website's support section and download the drivers for your model and redo add/remove hardware step. Then it should be recognized by your system and you should be able to drag and drop music. Note: if zen has proprietary software, you need to download that from the website, but the add/remove hardware step is not necessary.

Will not accept more songs or convert from wma to mp3

Have you tried backing up all the songs and re-formatting the player? This sounds like it could be a filesystem problem...

Or you could check for a firmware upgrade. That's what fixed mine when it wouldn't play mp3s; a new firmware might have a bugfix for your problem. Firmware is available at:

Creative Zen Nano Plus FROZEN!!!

here is a fix if your creative zen nano plus just hang on the creative logo when you turn your player on.
download, Creative ZEN Nano Plus firmware.
you can find it at the creative website, download section.
double click the file you just dl'ed, now make sure your
zen nano player is already connected to your pc when you run the file. it may take a bit of time before your pc can detect your zen nano be patient, a window prompt will soon appear asking if you want to update your firmware with the one youve just dl'ed.
now, dont worry if the firmware is the same as the one already
installed in your zen nano, just continue with the update.
you can also check the box in which there is the option of also formatting the drive. ( note: all files in your zen nano will be lost)
after the firmware is flashed you can now play and transfer files to your zen nano plus.
