I need to remove all the cartridges from my 2300DL QMS manually eventhough they are almost full. Something is wrong becasue the magenta color is leaking and the fuser is not heating up enough to blend it in a fuse with other colors. I think I just need to clean it with compressed air, but don't know how to remove the cartridges if they are not empty. Any suggestions?

To replace the cartridge on the Minolta Magicolor 2300DL open the side panel and remove the cartridge. If the cartridge to be replaced is not visible then look for a small hole on the upper left side of the cartridges. While pushing a small screwdriver into the hole and pushing it in turn the cartridges with you fingers until the cartridge to be replaced is visible and then remove it and replace it with the new one. Once you have the cartridge installed close the side panel. The printer will start to reconfigure the new cartridge. Once its done the green light will come on and your ready to resume printing. Out of one or more toners. If you have removed and replaced a cartridge in error the % remaining is reset to 100%. Try to determine which color is missing in your print out (usually black), and then follow menu instructions to replace that cartridge. The ends are color coded so be sure you change the correct one. This will insure the remaining cartridges % remaining is correct.
1. Open the Front Door.
2. Remove the Waste Toner Bottle.
3. Lower the unlock lever and remove the Drum
4. Reinstall the new Drum Cartridge
5. Pull the protective sheet of the Drum Cartridge to
the front and remove it.
6. Raise the unlock lever.
It's done via the printers internal menu system: On your Menu Select button press the arrow down once, then press the right or left arrow until it displays Menu Engine, then press down arrow again, then arrow right or left until it displays Engine Replace Toner (not Engine change toner SZ), then arrow down again, then arrow right/left till it shows the toner color you need to change, then hit the Menu Select button in the middle. The cartridges rotate until the one you selected appears, open the door and voila!
A couple of suggestions. 1. make sure there is not any plastic shipping tabs that need to be removed from the cartridge. 2. try reseating the cartridge. 3. Try replacing that cyan cartridge. It may be defective. Also make sure you use Minolta brand toners!
