I have a hitachi 42" plasma 42pd6600 it wont change to any av channels by remote or manually any ideas which part would have the fault so i can replace it. thanks.

Did you check the cable connections? They may have become loose or have obtained some dust. I would suggest to disconnect the cables and reconnecting them. The cables could have also malfuntioned.
I have the same problem with my 42PD6600. Spoke to the gents at Hitachi who tell me there is no automatic way to do this so you have to scroll manually to the correct source via the remote.
