There is no easy answer for this type of question, unfortunately. The best I can do is offer some advice. While installing XP is always possible, and most of the time preferred by the user, not all of the hardware will work every time with every computer. That's just a disclaimer. This will not work on vista 64 BIT you will need autocad 2009 64 bit version.
A quick short cut is to open a browser if you use Internet Explorer and select tools menu, then select Internet options. When the box opens then select the advanced tab and scroll down until you see a check box under security and check allow active content from CD to run on my computer.

U need to download the raid drivers and put them onto a floppy drive .. during loading of XP install u press a key to load Raid or Scussi drivers .. hit that, load the driver u put onto floppy and it shud then find it
