SOURCE: my connex cx3300hp wont transmit

You need external watt meter& SWR meter..Change antenna..Is the radio meter keying 3/4 way up to 4 watts?(if not then its not Tx'ng)It could be 10.240 mhz crystal or IF pots(need Frequency counter) Or take it to professional Cb repairmen...

When trying to transmit the meter displays " RF Out" and doesn't transmit what is causing this?

Many things. The TX relay may be bad. The RF output transistor may be bad. The driver transistors may be out, The mike cord may have a broken wire. The antenna may have corrosion at the connector.

I have a connex cx-4300 hp cb it will receive but won't send how do I fix this problem

Is there any RF being transmitted, to a nearby radio. also does the TX/RX led change.

There are many scenarios on this..

Loose/cold solder joints on the board.
loose diode on solder side of the IF area..
Bad RF transistors from High SWR..

if you can provide more info.

Radio recieves but won't transmit

If it will TX to a radio next to it. CHECK YOUR SWR's and replace the final rf transistors. Having a cb shop check them SHOULD be FREE! and if the rf final transistors are bad. A shop should bench test it for FREE, and shouldn't cost no more than $25 to fix. If they do have them call us. transistors are cheap.$2-5 each max.

I removed my Roger Beep from my Eagle Sidewinder 400, It still receives but will not transmit. What do I have to connect back up for it to start transmitting again? I'd be Thanking you for any help.....

If the radio is not going into TX, then you have not connected the TX line back up,

If there is no audio when you TX you have left the audio wire off.

The radio usually needs 4 wires.
TX (Puts radio into TX)
Audio (this carries the audio from the mic into the modulator)
Screen (ground cable (earth))
RX (not as common these days)

Symptom:Buzzing or motorboating sound in either the transmit or receive.
Problem: TR602 is oscillating
Cure: Replace C602 with a .01uF cap {Cap is located in the power supply board}.
RG 66,99,DX2517 Replace Q54 2SB754 60watt 7A with a higher power 2SB817 100 Watt 12A. Derating of this component will cool operation, provide better voltage stability, decrease wobble, allow voltage increase to 14.5 volts comfortably. (replace 10 volt caps in this section of the radio to a minimum of 16 volts before increasing supply voltage to this level)and provide faster swing rise time, Replace Q37 2SA473 to a 2SA1012-0 or ECG153 this will improve the clarity and volume of the modulation and it will also run a lot cooler.
