SOURCE: denon receiver (DRA 397) will not speak to iPod dock

IF YOUR NOT USING A DENON IPOD DOCKING STATION IT WILL NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY.
YOU CAN CONNCET OTHER TYPES OF IPOD DOCKING STATIONS BUT YOU WILL NOT HAVE CONTROL THROUGH THE DENON AND ONLY CONNECT THE AUDIO FOR THAT DOCKING STATION TO THE DENON AS ANOTHER SOURCE INPUT

SOURCE: Denon DRA-37 Receiver-Remote lock on. Need to unlock.

Refer to the "Initialization of the Microprocessor" section of the manual (page 16 of the PDF version of the manual).
1) Turn the unit OFF using the On/Off switch (not the standby switch).
2) Depress both the Speaker A and B switches, and turn the Power ON.
3) The entire display should flash at 1-second intervals. The microprocessor should be reset, and the remote should be unlocked.

SOURCE: I need a motherboard for a sony STR-DA50ES audio

These boards are no longer available from Sony. What is the problem you are trying to solve? I have never needed to replace the entire board. One other option is to locate a "broken" unit from shop or Ebay and use the board from there.

If you can describe the problems, perhaps we can help to repair the existing board.

Can dra 37 be used as a pre-amp without connecting speakers

If you mean a sa control center for source selection, volume and tone control, yes, but NOT for a turntable (no PHONO).

Controlled audio goes emerges from the pre-out. Page 9.

But you could still use its own speaker terminals if your exxternal amp has is remote or has its own volume control to match it up with other speakers.

Sony str-da50es. Does not power when power button is pushed.

Hi,
This problem is very common in this model the solution is to replace the fuse with improved one 10A 125V of type CES710A having part No.1-576-695-11. Remember that this fuse would be larger in size of earlier one so that you have to drill it first in the holder and adjust the fuse to a proper space of 1.4 drill bit.
Do the changes and your product work fine.
Thanks.

Hi there. Check for Dry solder joints around IC902,IC955,etc on Main board. This should sort your problem. IC902 supplies the Digital Board which in turn runs the fan circuit. This is why you won't have sound either. Be sure to unplug from mains and don't attempt if you do not have some experience in electronics. Hope this helps. Regards
