Usually you can remove the panel right above the keyboard, this will allow you to access the keyboard screws. The keyboard should swing up allowing you to unplug and remove it.

Removing the keyboard firstly requires the removal of the top plastic strip in order to gain access with the screwdriver to the four screws. To remove it follow the instructions at pages 137 & 138 and you are almost there.

Then on page 139&140 you will find the information to remove the keyboard. It explains all the information very analytically. You are simply unscrewing the four screws on the top side. On the bottom it is simply slided.

TIP: Be careful when you are releasing the keyboard up towards you. The flexi cable that is connected to the motherboard is quite short-fragile and does not have a lot of space to move so go slow until you have released the connector’s tabs and the cable is loose to be removed.

Please remember to remove the battery before you do any work in the laptop.

How to take an acer apire 9410-2028

You'll have to remove the mother board to fix this. Basically, remove the keyboard & touchpad. You will see the mother board at that time. Remove whatever else is necessary to get down to the mother board. Hint! Keep track of what screw comes out of what hole. You'll need to know that for reassembly.
