My tablet pen has been working fine, and today i plugged it in, and my tablet pen doesn't work. like, ill hover it over the tablet you know, to move it across the screen and it starts clicking everything, and highlights things, like im clicking and holding. and then when i try to click, nothing happens? anyone know what wrong? my mouse works fine, its just the pen. ive tried unplugging, and restarting the computer, it doesn't work. btw, i use a Huion tablet, if anyone could help, that would be great. I feel like it something in side that is like that? the tip is like alreay being press in like the pressure is on and stuck there

SOURCE: My Tablet pen wont release, it acts like im clicking and holding

I'm just gonna pass on a email from Tech Support I recieved.

"It sounds as though your pen has pressure in proximity. This is present when the tip sensor of your pen is stuck down causing the pen to think that it’s clicking before it’s even touching anything. What you may want to try would be to remove the nib from the tip end of the pen, it pulls straight out with a pair or tweezers or your teeth, and leave that out overnight with the pen left on its side. Place the nib back in the morning and if the issue persists then you may have a defective pen tip."

The rest consists of personal info and warranty advice so I'll leave it there.

Driver problem or the pen tablet?

Hello, Reena -

So, are you wishing to find and purchase a replacement "pressure thingie" for your tablet? The "pressure thingie", the electronic "pen" for your tablet, is called a stylus.

The Genius G-Pen 560 is manufactured by KYE Systems America Corporation. Go to this KYE web page and look at question 5 and the answer to it:
http://us.geniusnet.com/supports/g-pen-560

This link brings up the list of replacement "pens" which you can purchase:

Best wishes.

Intuos 4 pen clicking while hovering

You may have an issue with the drivers. If you're using the drivers on the CD, try updating to the latest drivers:

http://cdn.wacom.com/U/drivers/IBMPC/pro/WacomTablet_635w3.exe

If you're using the latest drivers and the issue persists, try rolling back your drivers to the previous release:

My Genius Easypen i405X tablet keeps clicking when I hover with pen

Hello :) we have the same problem regarding the same brand and product. But I got mine working just a while ago.
Try this: Control Panel>Pen and Touch
under pen options, there should be settings regarding the pen buttons. Unclick the "use the pen button as a right-click equivalent"
hope this helps though although it's been a year XD

I have a Wacom Bamboo Craft Tablet, and it was working just fine a few days ago, and today when i hooked to it my computer, the nib part isn't working. The eraser part is just fine. I replaced the nib and...

Since the tablet is receiving the eraser it is more likely that the pen itself is damaged. This is good news because the tablet is much more expensive to replace than a pen. You can buy replacement pens for the Wacom Bamboo tablet directly from Wacom. I will include the link but if you do not feel safe clicking it you can go to Wacoms site, click Products > Buy Now > Bamboo, you will find some pens available for about $30.

Here is the link: http://direct.wacom.com/stores/5/Bamboo_C137.cfm?UserID=22113229&jsessionid=a630896e283d$FE$15$1

Why has my bamboo pen and tablet become so sensitive?

I've had the intuos and it worked for years without incident. I have the bamboo and after only a few months it's having issues. WTF is up with that?! I've already changed the nub out once. It worked fine for a while but now... I have to double click to get it to release anything it grabs onto. As a graphic artist where precision is involved... that's very bad.

I think it's time to contact their customer service.

Is it possible to remove features from a tablet?

I have the bamboo fun pen also. I am currently running Windows Vista 64bit home and have the same problem. I fixed mine by going into the control options > Tablet PC Settings > Other > Go to Pen and Input Devices > Settings (Under Pen Options) Then I clicked at the top Where it states "Enable press and hold for Right-clicking". I disabled that and my pen works with no holding for the right click. I can make scratch marks all day! Hope this helps you too.
