Look at the circuit breaker that powers the plug that the oven is plugged into. It should be located near the power meter on the house. It will be 2 breakers with a metal pin connecting the trip levers. Usually, one breaker trips and the pin is supposed to trip the other. This doesn't always work as advertised so only 110 volts is available to the oven. The heat elements need 220 volts to work. Try manually resetting the breaker first. If that doesn't work, then replace the breaker.

SOURCE: ZBF360X Electric Single Oven: fan oven working but no heat...

Hello,

If the main oven fan is working but no heat it is most probably the ring element which is around the fan blade inside the oven.Check it is the element before you go and replace because there could also be an issue with the thermostat.Hope this helps.

Good Luck,

What is rhe best temperature for cooking bread in the Neff 1451 oven?

On circotherm at around 210 in a preheated oven for first ten minute, then drop to 190 until finished. For a 2-2.5lb loaf that would be 10mins followed by 20-30mins depending how dark you want it. On the neff ovens down the left side the shelfs are numbered 4 at the top down to 1 at the bottom... you should use the shelf set on 1 or 3 (**NEVER IN POSITION 2**). Good Luck. Hope this helps.ps you can prove the bread in the oven by setting the selector to 'fan' but with no temp, the heat from the lamp will create enough heat (obviously the bulb/lamp need to be working!!)

Can I use all shelf positions. Which positions are best?

If you are referring to the main oven, all shelf heights can be used. If you are using the rear heating element with the fan, then I would always suggest using the middle shelf.

If you are using top/ bottom or both heating elements instead, then place appropriately i.e. if using top heating element then use middle or lower shelf positions and if using bottom heating element then use middle or top shelf positions

My omega europa oven is not heating up .grill fan

Sounds like a faulty fan oven element. To replace: Disconnect from power (usually easiest to switch off at fuse box). Remove racks etc from inside oven. Remove rear panel inside oven- four screws. You will now see a heating element that goes around the fan- often you see blow mark on element. You need to remove the back panel of oven to access the nuts that hold element in- two nuts, undo nuts, remove wiring from element. New element available from any good appliance repair shop. Reverse procedure to refit. Happy fixing!!

Large oven burning food on top shelf when in fan assisted mode

Always cook food in the middle of the oven. Assuming this is an electric oven, there is a heating element up there that will cause burning of food, much like a broiler works.

If you must cook that high up in the oven, then cover the food your cooking with foil.

Nothing on the oven works, however the burners work on top, but when we turn the oven on nothing happens I even grabbed hold of the heating element in the stove and felt no heat or burn myself or anything

Check the thermal fuses / sensors mounted on the top exterior of the heating chamber and also the heating element. Both accessible from the rear of the oven. The element is most likely to have gone. It will be a 2 or 3 turn coil type with the fan mounted to the middle of it or a flat element with no fan. You will need to check the number of turns of the coiled element and also the mounting holes to ensure you get the right type. Turn off the mains power at the breaker or distribution point. You can get to the element behind the rear plate of the oven cavity by removing the side shelf slides, and rear panel by undoing the securing screws on the plate (2 or 4 depending on the exact model you have). Often a good idea to take a photo of the element mounting and take the model and serial no of the oven so that you can take this to the domestic appliance shop or email it to an online supplier to make sure that the element they supply is correct for your exact oven.

720 EF Fan oven fan making a scrreching noise now

It could be that cooking residue has run down the inside of the fan cover and it is restricting the fan movement. The fan cover is held on by four self tapping screws, one on each corner. Remove the cover and have a look to see if there are any rub marks on the inside. You should be able to remove some of the gunge by soaking the the whole cover in hot soapy water. If that doesn't work, buy the Lakeland brush on oven cleaner - that definitely works - you can use it on all of the inside of the oven. Whilst the cover is off, briefly turn the oven on to see if the fan still makes the same noise. If it does, it looks like the fan bearings are suspect and a new fan may be required. If not you have found the problem with the cover. Page 37 of the Handbook tells you how to replace the circulating fan.

WHY WON'T MY OVEN HEAT UP?

Most modern gas ovens and many broilers use a "glow-bar" style of igniter that glows red-hot to ignite the gas. If the igniter doesn't reach the proper temperature, the gas valve won't open. You may need to replace the igniter.

Neff u1271 oven not heating

Found the fault. It's the heat ring in the main oven. MAKE SURE THE MAINS POWER IS OFF PRIOR TO COMMENCING THIS WORK!!!!! 1.Simply remove the four screws that fix the fan surround in the main oven. 2.Remove the rear cover fixing screws and remove the rear cover. ( the cable passes through this so just rest it to one side ). 3.Remove the two push on spade connectors from the heater element ( positioned just down and to the right of the fan assembly ). 4.Remove the four heater element fixing screws from inside the main oven. 5. The tricky bit. . . There is one more fixing at the top of the fan in the main oven. I could not get the fan off its spindle, but the next step sorted this out. 6.Remove the three fan fixings from the rear of the oven. This allows the fan to wobble/move enough in the oven to remove the final heater fixing screw at the top of the fan. 7.Pull the heater element into the main oven. No doubt it has a very grey and flakey appearance to part of it! 8.Buy a new one and replace it in reverse order, remembering to replace all fixing screws as you go. 9. If you forget which way the cables on the heater element go, the one with the red marks on it goes to the left as you look at the back of the oven from the outside. ( nearest the fan assembly ) I know this all looks a bit long winded, but it really is quite simple if you follow the notes above! Hope this helps someone. Might just save a ridiculous call out charge from the professionals!!!! Best of luck, Keith.
