SOURCE: plantronics CS55. When using the wireless headset

Echo is usually caused by the transmit (speak) level on the unit being set too high.

1. First, try lowering the volume of the telephone. If you still hear an echo, adjust the volume of the headset itself.

2. The master transmit controls of the headset are the ABCD switch settings on the bottom of the base. A is the lowest and D is the highest setting.

3. You can fine tune this setting with the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons on the back of the charging base.

4. If this doesn't fix the echo, try moving the configuration dial on the left side of the charging base. The recommended setting for most phones is 1.

I can hear callers through my s11 plantronics headset but after using and trying all configuration no.'s they can't hear me at all

Make sure the Plantronics S11 headset is plugged into your handset jack on your phone, not the headset jack, this will make a difference on most phones. After plugging the S11 into the handset jack on your phone, you will need to pick up your handset receiver and sit it off to the side of the phone to place a call or to receive a call, after you are finished with your call sit the handset receiver back in the cradle on your phone.

I have plantronics cs 70 and this is connected to my cisco ip phone .the problem is i can't hear the other person on my phone but other persons can hear me ok.

You need to check all the locations of the dials and #'s, sometimes it is just a simple matter of turning a dial. Here is a link to the CS70 User's Guide that may help you.

On my new Plantronics S12 Headset System, I hear a dial-tone (through the headset) when I press the headset button, but when I remove the phone and begin dialing nothing happens. I also tried a test call...

Unfortunately, the phone does matter. The S12 is designed to work with office style phones where the handset is just the mouthpiece, all other features located on the base. My suggestion is to get a phone of that style (you can find inexpensive ones at Wally world) and connect the headset following the instructions on this link for the Plantronics S12.

I can hear the person on the other end, but they can't hear me on my plantronics Discovery 925

Try using the headset on a different phone. This will narrow down if it's a compatibility issue with your phone or a defective headset. If you pair to a different phone and experience the same dead microphone, that means the headset is the issue. If it's less than a year old, you can have it replaced directly from Plantronics. Plantronics tech support can be reached at 1-800-544-4660 x 5538.

I have Plantronics voyager Pro headset. The microphone is not working. The receiving end cannot hear me

Try deleting your Plantronics Voyager Pro from your phone and then repair them to each other. Sometimes this does correct any issues you may be having. The link for the user guide is included below.

NBX 3102 Headset jack stops working

You should be using a plantronics a-10 interface cable if you are using hardwire headsets. get rid of the m-20 amplifiers. I support 280 of these phones and the best solution is to replace the phone. Power cycling the phone will help for a while but the problem will come back.

Headset not working

The fine wires in the cord casing do break easily. If your RJ9 connection is loose, then the brass contacts are not making good contact inside the T10 base. Not many options, unless you can get the RJ9 clip repaired, but to get a new system.
