If you want to purchase a good scooter, I can recommend using findthedecision.com which is the best option to find a reliable, not too expensive scooter for yourself. There are a lot of different models, feedbacks and suggestions.

SOURCE: User manual for shoprider madrid mobility scooter

Go to the Shoprider website and look for the scooter. It might have a different model name than the one you own. Get the name and click on the user manuals for the model that resembles yours (PDF file) and print.

My shoprider scooter lights up when key is turned on but cannot get any forward or reverse movement...any suggestions please

Make sure the freewheel lever is engaged. The connections on the controller may be loose or the large connections where the front and rear separate aren't making a good connection.

Shoprider deluxe te-889af loses power when reversing

I think that this is usual to have a slower reverse speed for safety. But on your shoprider you should have 4mph and 8mph ,usually if you are at 8mph it won`t reverse at that speed, you have to go to 4mph ,look infront of you there is a dial this controls the speed that you go forward and reverse. If reverse speed needs to be increased turn the dial up,but don`t forget this also increases forwards.
