we can't see what you have there.
learn your credentials on the router
and set your S7 to that.
and passphrase matched.

You might try connecting using WPS instead if your router has a WPS button. Others say their s7 does not detect/connect to 5ghz signals. it might be possible under the advanced settings on the S7 to FORCE 2.4ghz connection to check if thats more reliable. It is common for wifi chipsets to not like each other. Most routers are Dual Signal capable and Its worth looking at the router settings to see if you can also switch on GUEST signal for OLDER devices. Log into your router and change the channel and see if that helps. Failing that try rebooting the router to factory settings and deleting your connection from the laptop. Then start from scratch again...Hope this helps...Please let me no...

Activate and connect to a WLAN
1.In range of WLAN network, access an application or menu that needs a wireless connection.
2.On the Home screen, press <Start> → <More> → Settings → Connections → More... → Wi-Fi.
3.Press <Menu> → Turn On Wi-Fi.
The device will display available WLAN connections.
4.Select a network profile from the list.
The device will attempt to connect to the WLAN.
5.Select a network type and press <Next>.
6.Enter a pre-shared key for WLAN and press <Next> or <Finish>.
7.Set the IEEE 802.1x access option and the extensible authentication protocol (EAP) type and press <Finish> (if necessary).
Create a new WLAN
1.On the Home screen, press <Start> → <More> → Settings → Connections → More... → Wi-Fi.
3.Enter a network name, configure connection settings, and press <Next>.
4.Enter network authentication settings and press <Next>.
5.Set the IEEE 802.1x access option and the extensible authentication protocol (EAP) type (if necessary).
6.When you are finished, press <Finish>.

To be able to find out the MAC address of your Samsung Galaxy phone, please do the steps below:
1. Press the Menu button, under the display on the left hand side.
2. A menu panel appears onscreen. Press Settings.
3. The phone's Settings menu appears. Press Wireless Controls.
4. From the Wi-Fi Controls Menu, press Wi-Fi Settings.
5. Press the Menu button (to the left under the display).
6. A menu pops up onscreen. Press Advanced.
7. The 12-character MAC address is listed in this menu.
There you go, you just have to add the MAC address where required in the appropriate place in the Wi-Fi router's configuration set up.
