Hi, I have a baumatic dishwasher BBM14S. It is stuck on a emptying cycle but it was empty. I poured water in 3L but has not made a difference. It is only under 2 years old. Richard

It does not matter how old it is. Our dish washer broke after two months. I'd suggest calling I a tech person to take a look at it.

SOURCE: Not starting wash cycle

Typically this means that there has been a water leak of some sort and there is water in the lower base pan. This is the large white plastic base that the dishwasher sits on.

If you remove the toe kick and look back past the fill valve on the extreme left side of the dishwasher about 6 to 8 inches from the front you will see a red stick that goes straight up and down. This is a mechanical linkage that activates the drain feature. Be careful as there are live connections here.

This stick rests on a round piece of Styrofoam that acts as a float. If there is water present it will cause the stick to lift and the dishwasher will go into drain. The source of the leak will have to be isolated and corrected. Most likely it is the fill float assembly as referenced at the end of this post.

If the stick is not in the upright position then there is possibly an issue with the switch mechanism itself.

You will have to pull the dishwasher out from beneath the cabinet and remove the panel covering the left hand side. If it is a full panel then there are a couple of screws holding it on from the front through side trim as viewed when the door is open if it is a half panel then it can be removed by removing the large torx screw on the lower right as seen when facing the panel.

If there is a problem with the switch then the entire mechanism should be replaced.

Try the following link to a picture for reference. It is upside down as compared to the installed one:

SOURCE: dishwasher not emptying the water out

Check pressure from power supply, check if the inlet valve is faulty or obsstructed.

If you find no problem, you may need to replace the pump.

If you enter model number here , you can find parts and diagrams.

DD603 top draw cycle getting stuck on 73min??????

Normally if you started the rinse cycle with water already in the base of the dishwasher it will immediately go into circulating the water through the wash arms. Do you hear the wash arms running when the washer is stuck at 11mins? Also when the washer is stuck at 73 mins are the wash arms running all the time or do you hear the pump operate at some stage?
If you have the dishwasher manual available make sure the water pressure setting is at HI or LO depending on your rated mains water pressure.

Has a bad oder

There are a few ways that people use to clean a smelly dishwasher .. First check the strainer at the bottom of the dishwasher for any food residue .. remove that before treating the washer .. then you can do some or one or all of these to see what works for you
If the strainer is messy, pour a good layer of baking soda in the strainer , then pour in some vinegar, it will foam and clean the strainer .. periodically adding vinegar until the foaming stops.
Put a cup or two of vinegar in the washer and run an empty cycle , use it on hot water cycle.
Put in some bleach and run an empty cycle
Put some lemonaide mix in the washer and run it ..

Good luck

Dishwasher fills with water, then empties, fills then empties, and repeats this cycle a few times - then decides to work. then part way through cycle - it repeats this frustrating cycle, making the whole...

Hi, Your dishwasher may pre-heat the water. If so, and if the water entering the dishwasher is cool, the heater may take up to half an hour to heat the water. To avoid the wait, increase the incoming water temperature before turning on the dishwasher. Do that by running the kitchen sink faucet until the water runs hot. Or increase the temperature of the hot water to the entire house at the hot water heater.
Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it.

I think my Bosch dishwasher might be a "lemon". I

Don't be afraid now, but , what I'n going to tell you works VERY often. Pour two cups of bleach into the washer and let it run a potscrubber cycle. They do this all the time at restaraunts, yes really! Let me know how this turns out. P.S. leave the machine empty when you run it. Thanks, Dana

Error code E2

Error Code E2 means the pump is blocked. The remedy is to take the filter out which is underneath the bottom dish basket and ensure its is clean and free from debris. Then use a small container to empty the water sitting in the bottom of the machine/filter housing and ensure that no waste is stuck in the bottom. That should clear it

Buamatic dishwasher- cycle is not completing when running- gets stuck.

The fill valve may not be telling the unit that it is empty. Try pushing it down and see if it will restart.
