Hi,

1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged
or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check wire harness connections to the drain pump,
pressure switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU).
4. Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects.
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. Check drain pump.
7. Check the pressure switch.
8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any
cycle.

My hooverDYN 9144D3X is displaying E03 any ideas please?

E03 is a draining fault.
If the machine is actually draining ok and quickly it would suggest a restriction in the pressure chamber or a faulty pressure switch.
  • Unplug the appliance.
  • Take the rear panel off.
  • Take the large plastic tube out of the sump hose (pressure chamber).
  • Clean it out and clean the hose out.
  • Reassemble and try the machine again.

Hover DYN 7164 error E16

OK Anthony! Now you have enough money to FIX the machine! LOL. First One error begets another. So forget about the errors! You are focusing on them too much! You told yourself whats wrong with this machine! OK Give Up? It is Not Draining! It is your Drain Pump Lad! Go and buy a new one, replace but remember to unplug it first. Don\'t due all that other stuff. Run the machine afterwards on a short cycle and guess what? No water!

Hoover dyn8164d had code E03 then E16 now E08

Hi.
These specific codes indicate the following:
E08 means that the Motor jammed or tacho fault
E16 means that the heating element is shorted or that there is a short in the circuit containing the element.
E03 This error code indicates that the water is not draining quickly enough.
Before doing anything it is worth removing the washing machine mains plug from the power outlet and leaving the machine disconnected for at least ten minutes. This will reset the codes if no faults still exist. Then plug the machine back in and select required wash routine. If all is well, well done you just needed to reset the machine. If a fault code is still showing then it would indicate there is still a problem in the area indicated.
You said you had checked that the filter was ok, it is also worth checking that your drainage hose is not blocked or
kinked.

Washer not draining and rinsing

Hello Wet Towels, well to be honest outside of the test program I have never seen a fault code E13. If it was an error E03 I would check my water to make sure it was turned on, the cold inlet hose wasn't pinched, or debre filling the filter screens in the hose or water valve. That is what the care and use says about E03. In the back of your owners manual it tells you what the fault means and how to correct it. If this doesn't work call for service to resolve your issue. Hope this helps.
