The fields on my ICOM software .icf file, about code-XZ and DLP codes do not match with the Motorola's info I've got. (and I was successful on other Motorola radios in the past) but now simply I can not match the filelds.
No, cloning is not possible between these two brands.

Hi, The Icom radio models start with IC followed by numbers and then letter(s). The BP5 is the model of the battery pack. Pls post back. I'm not familiar with Regency U156B. However, there is a Regency RU156 which is a 16 channel UHF 25watt mobile radio which could either be crystal controlled or PLL diode matrix. Regency was reported sold to the BK Relm Company, which no longer supports older Regency Radio Equipment. There are a few sites on the Internet where you can get hold of a user's manual (some for a fee) like http://www.bearcat1.com/manuals.htm. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how thin gs turned up, the Icom model or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.

When programming the radios the green light will flash when uploading or downloading data. The red light flashes when the battery is low. Maybe they are happening at the same time. As for the error message I would need to know what it said. Carl
