The most common cause of machines stopping mid cycle is not draining. Your machine should have a filter behind the kick plate at the bottom.
If this is not the case please post back for further assistance.

Check and make sure the washer is draining properly, there is a drain catch at the bottom front of machine, twist and remove cap and clean out any debris you find. Also check and make sure your getting enough cold water to the unit. Also make sure your using HE detergent....If that fails you may have a bad control board.

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question!!!!

I turned the Bosch Series 4 washing machine knob to the off position too soon after the load had finished washing. How do I now open the door?

Most washers will not unlock the door if it senses any water inside, select drain and spin or rinse and spin to rinse the clothes and drain the water. Once it has completed the cycle the door should unlock. If it does not there is usually an emergency release on the look lock inside the machine by removing the top or front panel.

Front load kenmore will not spin at end of wash

I have to know a little more detail before I can give you a reasonable solution. Does the washer drum fail to spin period? In other words, if you select rinse cycle manually, after the rinse cycle completes, does it fail to spin? Also, please give me the model number so I can look it up on my tech site. Thx Rick

Spin cycle will not engage ..

The machine is failing to empty completely, make sure drain hose is free to drain and the drain is not blocked and that the filter isn't blocked. Also make sure you haven't selected rinse hold

GE front load washer will not complete the rinse & spin cycle

1) 1st check the filter under the machine (it unscrews behind the access panel 2) open front door and pull back the rubber membrane to see metal and clean out the debris blocking drain holes 3) remove the drain hose from the machine (spring clip) and try and run water thru it and keep blowing out the junk and re-attach 4) run the machine thru 2 cleaning cycles w/bleach and without bleach 5) start using less detergent
