My msr10 hunter will not eject spent shell casing before new bullit loads

you probley have two cds jamed in there if you can here the motor trying to eject the cd and bogging out. or if you can here the eject motor running smoth and nothing coming out the gears are broke. you will have to pull the deck out and dismantel if you want the cd back.

SOURCE: i have a ithaca model 49 lever action single shot

there is a lever under the barrel and it is probably worn beyond function or broken off all you need to do is disassemble the gun and replace it. ( get yourself some good brass punches)

The ejector pin becomes flattened with sharp edges... it shaves brass, the brass helps stick the pin which is also penned out and a bit larger now. I took mine out and honed it so that it did not shave brass and would slide easily in the hole.... Make sure your spring is back in before you try the pin (You want something to push it back out). Most important... don't let the pin and spring get away from you. You can look on a chambered and ejected cartridge to see exactly where the bras is being shaved from. In my case it was the very back, outer flange, indicating the ejector pin.
