My Wolfgang Puk convection oven isn't heating everything else seems to be working. Would a new heating element possibly be the fix?

These ovens have very bad reputation for failing. A lot of people have reported the exact same problem.

It's probably not the heating element as they should last for tens of years.

One item known to fail in these units is the power relay which sends power to the elements. I would tend to believe that the real cause is the use of cheap electrolyte capacitors used in th he power supply causing the failure.

Hi. My oven doesn't heat up after I've used oven pride on it. It's a New World DF 90 make. Everything else works, the fan, grill and hobs, but not the oven itself.

Unfortunately, it sounds like your heating element broke. Suggest using an ohm meter to make sure of that before you replace.

The good news is that element is pretty easy to replace and not very expensive either. Just make sure to trip the circuit breaker BEFORE you attempt the remove and replace.

The bracket which holds the ceiling heating element up in the microwave broke so now the heating element is hanging down into the microwave cavity. How do I get a replacement part and is it easy to...

The brackets are usually made of heat resistant plastic, or bakalite, you can search for parts at www.whitegoods.co.uk but you will need model and serial number, a word of caution, the microwave oven may have to be dismanteled to fix new element holders, you can still get shocks from them even though the mains power has been disconnected, depending on the age of the appliance and availability of parts, it may be a replacement is required.

Dual Oven - upper oven bake element replaced but no heat from it

Usually no internal fuses, and most of the time the controller is rated for fault interupt current.... age will degrade them though...

How did you change the element without pulling out the stove? is it a 'click/plug' in? might be that the socket is messed up...

You should not have to disassemble the cabinet, should just be a few screws and the unit slides out... sometimes hidden behind small movable pannels..

Peace

The wire that connects the heating broke off on

You're going to have to pull the walloven and take off the back panel. And probably replace the high temp terminal on the wire. You may want to pay a pro for this. You mess up the cabinet it's your problem but a reputable service company has experience and insurance and the right equipment to remove the oven
