Hello and welcome to FixYa!
It can be a disconnected or loosen battery connectors. As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you tighten the negative battery connector. Please do check the body ground to the body as well. If possible add more body ground and observe how it goes.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
the heater core if leaking will let coolant run into the passenger side floor. it will need replacing.
SOURCE: there is an oily substance running down the mat and carpet behind the clutch pedal on my for d focus
Depending on what you focus has there will be two reservoirs under the bonnet if the clutch is hydraulic there will be one for the clutch but there is a seperate one for the brakes check these reservoirs to see how full they are if either of these leak from the pistons inside the fluid will run past the seals and eventually in to the vehicle if your clutch is hydraulic the telltale sign will be if you look up behind the dash board where the pedals are one of the areas where the pedals are or even the top of the pedal itself will be wet with the fluid leaking back in best to change the master cylinder as there cheap enough then when new one is fitted bleed clutch this can be achieved by filling the reservoir then follow the pipe from that reservoir down to the gearbox there will be another cylinder on the gearbox where this pipe is joined look for a bleed screw on that cylinder
