Web Camera’s have to besetup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up tobroadcast on messengers or Skype.

Each program has Options that have to be setup in order forthe Audio and Video to function properly.

A. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/) set it up as follows:

Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
Then click on the Video Settings.
The camera if Installed Properly will come up and show a video picture.
Then, on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able tosee and her to you.

C. Windows LiveMessenger:
Go to thissite http://download.live.com/?sku=messengerand download Windows Live Messenger.

After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on top left next to the red X.
Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on “ “Show Menus.” And then click on “Show the Menu Bar”.
Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on “ “Action.”
Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting” and follow the instructions.

NOTE: Your audio andvideo should work. Enjoy.

When done both the Audio and Video will function properly soyou can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.

This is happening to those who used versions of the meadow.
It was contained in previous versions of DirectX-a.
You can check the place of this file in your Cyberlink installation folders and can replace it with new one which you can download from internet or you can copy a new one there.

But best solution is to check your directX driver is up to date or not.If not you should update it and then try to install Cyberlink again.

I was able to get PrintMaster Platinum 10 to install on Windows Vista by right clicking on E:\Setup\is_Setup.Exe->Properties->Compatibility->Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and then running E:\Setup>is_Setup.Exe FullSetup.ini from the command prompt.

Try the following solutions.

Most certainly your computer is infected with Virus or Malware. The symptoms are there.I strongly recommend a good Anti Virus to be installed on your PC and it should be updated before scanning and cleaning you PC.
If the same situation persists uninstall the Yahoo messenger and get a Yahoo messenger of a different version from the internet. The latest being Yahoo version 11. You Yahoo messenger software on your Vista might be corrupt.
You need to get a good Registry cleaning software to clean the registry which might be corrupt or may have wrong or missing entries for Yahoo messenger.
If the problem still persists try repairing Vista which is final option. Insert the Windows Vista DVD in your DVD player and a splash screen will appear which will display a "Repair" option select it. If the splash screen does not appear insert the Vista DVD in the DVD player and restart your machine. Make sure you have selected your DVD drive on top priority on the computer BIOS setup. and when the message appears Press any key to boot from DVD. Press any key and the setup will start the select Repair Windows Vista option.

a. Download the most recent Flash Player uninstaller to your desktop from the TechNote below. Please read the instructions in the TechNote before running the uninstaller.
