• Login as Administrator. Try with no password (load safe mode if you don't see Administrator). Press F8 during boot to access Safe Mode.
  
• Login as other user (if other user is available) and manage users. Must be an administrator.
  
• Reformat computer.
  
• Use 3rd party software to remove password. Like http://www.top-password.com/reset-windows-password.html
  

Obviously you can't use the Admin part, but here are your options.

Start system and when you see Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press ctrl+alt and hit the del key twice and it'll show Classic Login box. Now type "Administrator" (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from "Control Panel -> User Accounts".

First thing you can try is:

1: When booting up the laptop Press F8 until you see a screen show that has an option to boot in "Safe Mode"
2: Once it has finished booting up you can Select Administrator and hopefully there is no password set.
3: If there is no password set then login as Administrator and goto "Control Panel", Select User Accounts and change your daughter's password to something she wont forget ;p
