sounds like a toner error. i would call the customer support and find out. usually, if it is toner problem (low or empty), replace the cartridge and power-on the unit. that should clear the error. on some, you have to go in manually in the menu to clear it.

I did contact the Xerox support center and they did suggest the following fix:
reboot the printre --> pres the following buttons --> powersave + red stop button + nr 6.
This should empty the print memory.
