Acer Travelmate 2450 Keypad and mouse frozen!

Did you change the sound profile ? What is the sound card software ? is it realtek ?

Go to www.ebay.com Type: make and model of laptop, refine search to screen and keyboard.

Try to use another OS, like Ubuntu Live, and see if the mouse and KB will freeze. If they wont freeze, It is better to reinstall the OS.

If they will freeze again with Ubuntu, then I am sorry to tell you that the battery life has finished.

The only thing to do is to replace it for another one new.

try useing a cd of xp to repair it then going to http://www.filehippo.com and downloading AVG.9.00

if you have no input device that work, try attaching an external keyboard and mouse

just press and hold key Fn and press arrow up or down to change volume.

It sounds like driver problem. You need to reinstall Windows.

I' m using acer travelmate 3260....window xp.....whn i click on obicam it shows "camera is in use by another applicaton...stop the application then press reconnect button"...
