SOURCE: Rival slicer model #65301, sparks when I slice meat, need a new motor ?

not necessarily, you can clean the commutator (where the carbon brush is touching the rotor-where you see the sparks are coming from). you may want also to replace the carbon brushes if worn out

The slicer predates 2014. Sears parts division has offers some Rival replacement parts. You might try them if the above source does not pan out. There is also a heritage parts outfit that might have something. The ebay listing for this part in particular does not list any as currently available. But one on the above leads may help.

Rival slicer model #65301, sparks when I slice meat, need a new motor ?

possibly not as sparks can be from low brush length or the armature needs a clean up
all brushed motors spark when they run and normally it is a small blue spark the full length of the brush and contained under the brush
If it is a harsh arc like spark then the motor should be looked at by an appliance repair shop

I need to know where to get a meat slicer tray?

I also bought one at a yard sale, complete and in the box. It did not have a meat tray with it, nor a picture of one on the box, nor any mention of one in the instructions. I just use a plate, and it works fine. Sorry.

Best regards, --W/D--
