Hello.. I have a basic LG led TV model no. 32LN530B and I experienced a power surge few days ago. Since then, the tv turns on but I get black screen. Can I buy a bulb to replace? Thanks.

SOURCE: vizio tv first screen had bluish discoloration and than few days later a pop and screen went black .ANY IDEA OR SUGGESTION.

This is called the pop of death! If you call vizio they will ask you if you heard a pop, this is a common issue and unless your under warrenty your looking at 916$ to fix it. (assuming you have no sound! If you do its 430$ plus tax for parts and repair. You can buy a used one on ebay for that price!

I have the parts numbers if you want them!
Call vizio if you have had this system for under a yr the will fix it free!

As for me my 50 and 42 inch had this issue and well I am out of warrenty.. I hate vizio lol!

SOURCE: Turns on and off green LED flashes until TV turns back on.

this is a symptom of a bad lamp. for some reason it won't spit out a lamp error. shaking up the lamp will sometimes fix temporarily but you will find replacing to be the answer. if your tv has a fan error, you will get 4 red blinks.

Sounds like the monitor is being made to show a resolution it does not support. Check the available resolutions the monitor supports and then check what resolution the video card is giving, if it not compatable, you get the black and blue screens.

For the video card, right click on the desktop in a an empty area and choose properties > settings > your resolution from the card will be there. Now from there click on advanced > click on monitor and look at the monitor settings. Make sure the box is checked to hide modes the monitor cannot display. Now click on the adapter tab and click below on all modes. This is the list of all modes that both the monitor and the video card argree on. Make sure the settings in your game match one of these and you should be good to go.
