"TX" is short for "transmitter". Searching means that our TV is looking for a station, and is not finding one. Check antenna and other connection details.

SOURCE: black vertical line on top corner of my tv

Has the TV been hit or anything? Its most likely that your LCD is broken, But also make sure its not your cable or connections to your TV.

SOURCE: black screen and cusor is in left corner.when you

windows or linux?
if linux, seems like a grub or lilo problem. but i believe it's windows so...
insert the windows CD, choose the "repair console" option and do these:
fixboot
fixmbr
chkdsk C: /P
bootcfg /rebuild
(at this last one, it will ask you for an identifier, put something, and the next one, leave blank)
reboot

SOURCE: Have a black box in the top left corner of tv how can I get

check and see if your tv has PIP (picture in Picture) which you turn on and off with the remote. If you do you have PIP turned on, but not set to any station.

Hi I have a Panasonic LCD TX-32LXD there appears to be a line across the screen. It is about 1" 1/2 wide. but is completely see through and depending on what colours are on the screen depends how bad it...

Hi There,
Try restore the tv to factory state. It could be a burn in from a tv station you always watch eg. Some lcd will have a non burn in function, What that means simply is if you watch mtv all the time it will leave the mtv sign in the corner as its burned into the tv. Depends on how old the tv is restore and see what happens from there, other than that get an engineer or replace it if its still under warrenty....Hope this helps

Black line running horizontally across TV screen

A line on an LCD, either horizontal or vertical usually means the video driver board is defective or the screen is defective, does it show up as black even on a dark screen? That means a line of LCD "shutter"s is not working and there is a problem that cant be fixed by a reboot or channel change. Bummer.
