If the left is the front, then the right is the back?
It looks like you put the plastic post through the bobbin and plug that plastic post into the top right of the machine, in the center of the grey plastic wheel that turns. The bobbin will be close to the spool of thread and sticking up the same way.

If you mean the little bobbin stick, just push it to the back of the machine and this will disengage the wheel, then follow the diagram for your bobbin winding. :-)

How do you thread a euro pro 382?

Here are the steps to thread a Euro-Pro 382 sewing machine:
  1. Raise the presser foot lever to release the tension discs.
  2. Place the thread spool on the spool pin and slide it to the right until it clicks into place.
  3. Pull the thread end from the spool and insert it through the thread guide located at the top of the machine.
  4. Pull the thread down through the tension discs, then wrap it around the bobbin winding tension disc located on the top left of the machine.
  5. Insert the thread end through one of the holes on the bobbin and push the bobbin onto the bobbin winding spindle.
  6. Push the bobbin winding spindle to the right to engage the winding mechanism. Hold the thread end and press the foot pedal to start winding the bobbin.
  7. When the bobbin is full, cut the thread and push the bobbin winding spindle back to the left.
  8. Remove the bobbin from the spindle and place it into the bobbin case.
  9. Hold the thread end and turn the handwheel towards you to raise the needle to its highest position.
  10. Pull the thread from the bobbin case and insert it through the thread guide located above the needle.
  11. Thread the needle from front to back and pull the thread out about 6 inches.
  12. Lower the presser foot lever to engage the tension discs and pull the thread towards the back of the machine.
  13. Hold the thread end and turn the handwheel towards you to take up the bobbin thread.
  14. Close the bobbin cover and you're ready to start sewing.

For the dressmaker II, the first bobbin, I got through step 1-5 but where the does step 6 go BECUZ that's really trippin me, PLS tell me. And the instruction is not clear at all, I don't understand it

Hi Vicky, I hope this helps you:
1. Remove the slide cover plate by sliding it toward you, and lift
up the bobbin and the bobbin case from the machine.
2. Put the bobbin pin into the hole on top of the hand wheel and
place an empty bobbin on the bobbin pin (spindle).
3. Lift the large spool pin from the back of the machine and
place the spool of thread on the large spool pin.
4. Place the bobbin winder tension clip into the hole in the back
of the machine.
5. Pull the thread to the left and pass it through the bobbin
winder tension disc.
6. Insert the thread through the hole in the bobbin from the inside
out and leave about 3" of thread out. (ensure that the hole on the bobbin is facing upwards)

7. Hold the end of the thread and start the machine, either by
pressing on the start button or the foot control. After the
bobbin winds a few turns, stop the machine and cut the thread
close to the bobbin. (Cut the thread end that is protruding from the hole at the top of the bobbin).

8. Start the machine again and continue winding until the bobbin
is full or the quantity of thread is enough for your needs.
9. Stop the machine and cut the thread. Remove the bobbin from
the bobbin pin.
10.Take out the bobbin pin from the hand wheel and push back
the large spool pin into the slot in the back of the machine.

Good luck :)

How do you load the bobbin properly?

Hi there,

Well you may please follow the steps below -
1. Remove the bobbin from the sewing machine. Note: whether you have a drop-in, front or side-loading bobbin on your sewing machine. A drop in bobbin will load from the top, may be via a removable bobbin case cover near the machine-fed dogs. A side or front loading bobbin needs to be loaded into a removable bobbin case under the machine.
2. Choose the right size bobbin for the sewing machine.
3. Wind thread onto your bobbin. Your sewing machine should have a standard thread spool to hold the thread and a short, squat post wide enough for a bobbin.
4. Put the thread and empty bobbin into position on your sewing machine. Wrap the thread around the bobbin to start it. On most machines, disengage the needle by turning the smaller hand-wheel on the machine toward you. Push the bobbin post into position, securing the bobbin into place. Press gently down. Thread should begin to wind neatly onto your bobbin.
5. Break the thread, push the bobbin post back into an inactive position and remove the bobbin. Tighten the hand-wheel. Thread your sewing machine again if necessary before loading the bobbin.
6. Remove the bobbin case cover and put the bobbin into position. The thread should slide through a catch on the bobbin case and up through the cover.
7. Access the bobbin case for a front or side mount bobbin. Lift the catch and remove the removable bobbin holder. Put the bobbin into the holder and run the thread through the holder, bringing it to the front. Lift the catch and slide the bobbin holder back into the case. Hold your needle thread gently forward with your left hand and turn the hand-wheel. The needle thread will pass down into the machine and catch a loop of the bobbin thread. Pull this loop up and slide both threads to the back before beginning to sew.
Good Luck!!

I dont understand what it means by...

I beleive what they are asking you to do is to bring up the bobbin thread to the top of the throat plate( which cover the bobbin area, to do this you hold the top thread end and manually turn the wheel to engage the bobbin thread and bring it to the top of the throatplate, now you should be ready to sew

Euro pro model 9110 winding the bobbin

The engaging letter is the gadget where you place the bobbin. By pushing it to the right the machine disables the rest of the machine temporarily while you wind the bobbin.

I purchased a Euro-Pro Shark 998A but the B looks the same

Go to this address

http://www.euro-pro.com/europro/faqdetail.aspx?modelno=998B

It does not list a 9988A, but I would imagine there is not much difference in how the threading and bobbin is done. This is a page of instructions as well as a manual to download. The manual is in Pdf format, so if you don;t hae acrobat reader, you'll need to go to www.adobe.com/acrobat and download it for free so that you can read the pdf file.

Good luck to you and Thank you for using Fix Ya!
