probably tripped a limit switch or a low voltage fuse would kill your display on the tstat, you should have battery power on your stat though.unless you have knowlege of electrical you better call a technician
DON'T BUY A NEW ONE JUST YET! IF THE BATTERIES DIED & THERMOSTA LOST POWER, IT MAY HAVE LOST IT'S MEMORY. IT MOST LIKELY WENT BACK TO FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS, & NEEDS TO BE RE-PROGRAMMED THROUGH THE INSTALLER SET-UP MENU. HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE THE PAPERWORK FOR THE THERMOSTAT STILL & CAN POSSIBLY DO THE SET-UP YOURSELF. IT SHOULD HAVE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS IN THE INSTALLATION GUIDE (NOT THE OWNERS MANUAL)
Honeywell manuals are online for all its thermostats. Google search your model number. Model number is on back of thermostat. Copy following link for Honeywell resources: http://yourhome.honeywell.com/home/Applications/FindYourModelNumber.aspx Honeywell manuals are detailed, but each pdf file can be word-searched. This is to tell you that the new installed honeywell thermostat as high voltage capacity, it is ok, it is not good enough, though, it as no much effect on your lighting points, but you can get a technician to see if there is a way to adjust the voltage at the thermostat.
