Check the rollers and roller arms, make sure they are not worn or loose or bound up. The rear roller arms should collapse freely to allow the door to latch.

These automatic side doors are extremely complicated and require a trained technician to repair wit the factory repair guides to go by, there are many adjustments to be made and sometimes that is all they need plus some cleaning and lubrication of the latch and moving parts. Remove the speaker covers by sliding a screwdriver carefully under the edges and push it up. They are just pressed into holes. Once removed, you have to remove the 4 screws of the top cover (the one with the buttons). After removing the screws slide a screwdriver carefully under the top cover and push it up. Attention, the cover is connected to the body with little cables so do not break them. Once pushed up , you see little screws that hold the top sliding rail. Remove them and you can take the sliding door off. Good luck
Model HC30DB dead; fuse in plug ok. My iPhone was docked so I had to open the door. The speaker covers do pop off, just persevere. Two screws in the CD bay; to open the door I found a small gap under the door and using a small screwdriver I could gently move a whitish cog in either direction and simultaneously applying a bit of pressure to the door, it released. Once inside, I found a glass fuse within the power supply casing, and the filament inside was melted. Now to source a new one.
