SOURCE: Brand new watch won't work

Check your users manual if your watch have two batteries. If yes, you need to replace digital part battery.
If your watch has only one battery, your digital screen or plate is defective. Bring it back to the retailer and ask to replace for the decently working watch.
But first of all try to fiddle with all pushbattons- sometimes it helps.

SOURCE: how to adjust metal wrist band on casio watch?

  1. Pop out one spring pin to disconnect the band from the watch or from itself at the clasp. If you don't have a special tool for this, a needle or a pin will probably work. A straightened paper clip may be too thick, but they are cheap so you could try it. Now the watch and band can sit flat on the work table.
  2. Examine the links. If some of them have little arrows on them (usually the ones closest to both sides of the clasp), they are removable.
  3. These removable links are held together by a "U" shaped (actually a squared off "U" - sort of like this |_| ) pin that is inserted into the link. There may should be some kind of window-like opening in the link into which you can insert a narrow screwdriver or similar tool or even a small nail (around 6-penny size) and push out the |_| shaped pin. A straightened paper clip is probably not sturdy enough, but you could try it. Push in the direction of the arrow (from tail to point). The links that were joined by the |_| pin can now be separated.
  4. Remove a second such pin from another adjacent link. Now a single link is free and can be discarded (or kept). Reconnect the remaining adjustable links with one of the |_| pins and re-attach the spring pin from step 1 so the band is reunited with itself or with the watch.
  5. Try it on. If it is still too long, repeat the process. Good luck.

How do u set the time on a ga 100 g shock watch

You hold down the A button for a few seconds until it beeps. The A button is the one that says 'adjust' on it and is at the top left hand corner of the watch face. After that you adjust your home city time by pressing the bottom right hand button. After you hit adjust again the watch face will rotate to the home city time. You can see your home city change in the bottom right hand lcd display. A description of the home city codes is in the manuals you can download from the site posted above

I have a Series 118 Pierre Cardin Quartz alarm with 3 buttons: Light, Set and Mode; I can't figure how to set/change the time

mcdevito75 here, The mode button is the button you need to depress to set the mode of the watch. Depress the mode button once, see if anything on the face is blinking, if it is use the set button to adjust the time/date You may have to depress the mode button twice or depress and hold down the mode button a couple of seconds to get the face/display of your watch to blink, after you make 1 adjustment to move to the next depress the mode button again until you get to the next adjustment, or the next function to set on your watch. After you"ve set all the functions depress the mode button again to stop the blinking a show a steady display.
