How to reset time and date on olympus ws852 en

Remove the battery for 15 mins then replace the battery, open the camera's Menu and set the Date & Time.

Follow the instructions on the second page of this manual.

I had the same problem. I wanted to set my Olympus C5000 Zoom to automatically date stamp photos. After going through the entire manual, I had to call Olympus directly. They told me that none of their cameras have an internal date stamp feature. They said that the date stamp lowers the quality of the picture, so they choose not to have the feature available. However, you can manually add the date and time stamp through the software that comes with the camera, just before you print the pictures. Hope that helps...
