Count the number of flashes then Google that number fur your model. Each flash represents a different problem.

In sony tv`s the 4 blink code(sony error codes)usually means that there is a vertical deflection problem.
It is often caused by a faulty vertical output i.c and/or related components.

If the lamp does not light at all, it is probably a bad lamp. The buzzing may be the ballast trying to start the lamp or a problem with the power supply.
