I changed blade on my Troy Bilt edger and now the blade tightens and wont spin when I try pulling throttle

Start with the spark plug it is the easiest.

But sounds like the carbourator is dirty, Probably fouled with old gas varnish. When it is idling give it a little throttle, flip the choke on and then full throttle. If it goes full throttle and doesn't conk out, it is a fuel issue.

Is the pull rope in the front or rear of engine.Thinking that the string is in the front,you must throttle housing and shaft from engine. remove starter housing. There sould be a screw holding the string and spring in place.

Hello. Let me assist you. Since your trimmer runs but stalls at ful throttle it is telling you that there is a fuel problem. Not enough gas is getting through the carbeurator to satisfy the engines needs on full throttle. Most likely the carbeurator is gummed up. A common problem. Let's see if we can un gum it by getting a can or carbeurtor cleaner. Go to any auto parts store and talk to the clerk about your need.

I have a Troy bilt 7800 13500 generator. It has maybe 40 hrs on it. And It stopped working. I took it into a shop to have it fixed. Repair cost would be $1000.00 I paid 1200 for it.
