Question about Panasonic Audio Players & Recorders
Check the speaker cables to make sure they're connected the right way. Make sure there isn't any physical damage to the cables that could short them out. If the cable polarities are right, there's a chance it will have to go into a repair shop as a circuit inside of it has failed or been damaged.

Hi,
F61 error codes could either be IC501 or the regulator (IC502) in the power supply section.
For reference, pls view these two (2) posts here and here of similar concern on other models.
Other possibilities are:
1. fan not turning;
2. cold solder;
3. looses connections;
4. one of the other components/systems hooked up to the power supply is causing a fault (tuner, disc player).
Hope this be of additional help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.

Although the Panasonic Home Theater systems are great when they work properly. If your machine displays the "f61" error message, it's likely to be little more than a paper weight for the average person. The inner workings of the machine are rather complex to disassemble for diagnostics. And can take several hours to check all the components. The best advice I can give you is to sell the machine on e-bay as a broken item. If you offer shipping you can get more money for a complete system (speakers & all).
