As the headset is repeatedly charged, the pins on the charger starts to not reach the blue tooth ear piece to charge. I clean the dust around the edges on the contact area and was able to get it to charge

SOURCE: Dell Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard doesn't work

check the device for a " reset " button, they are usually located on the bottom of the device, if this does not work, you may need to contact dell directly and discuss the problem further.

I have lost my pin for my kensington bluetooth keyboard. How do I start again

Power on keyboard with 5 seconds button on. Keyboard will start with LED slow two flash mode.
Go to Device menu and "Add a device". Select Keyboard.
On the UI keyboard, input "0000" (no enter), and touch "add".
Then on the physical keyboard, input "0000" + Enter.
It should make start connecting.
The UI changes into connecting view. But it already connected.
You can test with pushing "Windows Key" on the physical keyboard.
After connected, both LED on keyboard was automatically turned off. It is still working normally.

Kensington keyboard manual

Your model number isn't listed, but all published Kensington keyboard manuals are available at
http://www.kensington.com/manuals

My keyboard (model K39336) connected easily, so here's what I had to do. Ensure the Ipad Bluetooth is on in settings. Turn on the keyboard, and when you see a single blue light, press the connect button. The iPad will give you a four digit code to type in on the keyboard. When you type in this code, the iPad and keyboard become 'paired' and keyboard input is available whenever the keyboard is turned on.

Usb receiver broke on my kensington pilotboard desktop set, any ideas

You can contact Kensington's customer service and see whether they will ship you a replacement. As an alternative, you could buy another Kensington Wireless Pilot Board mouse and use its receiver. As a third alternative, you could buy another Kensington wireless mouse or keyboard and see whether the receiver for that will pick up the Pilot Board keyboard. Finally, you could buy another wireless mouse or keyboard (not Bluetooth) and see whether its receiver will pick up the Pilot Board.

Wireless keyboard will not connect

For non bluetooth you can synchronise the mouse and keyboard with laptop dongle by pressing synchronise button on bottom side of keyboard or mouse and also on the dongle.A steady green light indicates synchronisation. For bluetooth check regular bluetooth settings.

I need a USB flash drive for mouse/keyboard. I have a Kensington Pilot Board Laser Wireless Desktop Set. PN K64390. I can't find the USB drive to make it work. Can I order one somewhere? Or go buy...

you are not looking for a Flash Drive. you are looking for the radio receiver dongle. You will have to contact Kensington to purchase one but they may not be able to, you will be better off replacing the unit.

if the unit is Bluetooth, you can buy any bluetooth receiver to connect it.

Flashing red light on the Kensington wireless mouse base

I still have the manual for my mouse.  Model number 64321.
When this mouse was manufactured it used NiCad batteries which developed a memory much more than the newer batteries.  The older NiCad batteries needed to be conditioned occasionally so Kensington provided a way to do that with the charging base.
The red light is for indicating discharge status of NiCad batteries.
The red light will flash quickly when you press the battery discharge button on the bottom of the base.  This indicates that you now have 5 seconds to place the mouse in the charging base for battery discharge.
The red light will flash flash more slowly when the battery is being discharged.
After the battery is fully discharged, the base will then charge the batteries.
It should be noted that very few manufacturers of products that utilized NiCad batteries provided a "battery conditioning" feature.  Kensington was unique in this regard.  Battery conditioning allowed NiCad batteries to have a longer useful life.

Now maybe you can help me....  I lost my power supply that plugs into the USB connector.  If you have yours, can you tell me what the output voltage is and what the polarity is of the inner pin.  This will be marked right on the power supply base.
I plan to just get a generic power supply from Radio Shack, but I need the voltage value and polarity.  Until then, I can still use the mouse, but it won't charge.  FOr now, I'm just using standard AAA batteries.
Thanks.
