I have a Panasonic TV the remote for it is broken have bought a Philips Universal SRU 3040 11 remote it does not have the button TV/AV which on the old when pressed turned on the channels from AV2. It does have these buttons separately have tried pressing the two together nothing happens. What I want is to be able to turn on the local stations without manually turning on the TV first.
The TV button on the remote is to select TV mode for the controller. STB, VCR & DVD do the same for their respective devices.
The A/V should select the external inputs by itself. If not try each of the Panasonic codes in turn:
0011, 0021, 0027,0029,0039,0072, 0102
Enter the codes as follows:
Press and hold TV for 3 seconds until the TV key flashes and then stays on.
Enter one of the codes (above)
TV key should flash twice. (if not go back to the beginning)
Try pressing the buttons on the controller. If all the functions do not work, try the next code.
