Brand new batteries and its tellin me to change them!

It only says change bateries. Once and a while the canan intro will flash and then go straight to a blank sceen which says"change bateries". Ive tried pluggin it in and it wont work at all. there is a small battery in the camera but I think its for memory purposes. How can I get this camera working?

Same issue with the "change battery" notification. Camera will appear to be working fine at times and then the message appears shutting down the camera. Obviously you can not rely on the camera to work. Changing to brand new batteries does not help.

I have Canon A520 and it said the same thing about " change the batteries". I think it is defect in the camera since new rechargeable batteries with 2500 mAh did not help. New Alkaline battery worked few shot and then it said low battery again. I changed the switch to look the picture, it is working fine.

You need to power it with rechargable batteries. with the MAH being no less than 2000. I bought a charger which came with 2batteries for less than a tenner

Please check if the batteries u used before have leaked any oil inside the camera. this damages the metal strip that shorts and two batteries. if there is no damage then tat portion s safe.
the small battery inside battery compartment is for camera date. dont disturb it.
after changing new batteries tha camera works for few time and then shuts down means your camera CCD s consuming lot of power. use a camera adapter to confirm that the camera works in normal power atleast.
even after this. camera shuts off itself. take it to service centre soon.

Amp'd turns on but turns off after intro.

I had this problem too, I was going crazy and worried about it, your iDog AMP'D Just needs new batteries, to change it, unscrew the metal screws that are located under it's back legs, and replace the old batteries with three new AA ones. Make sure they are good batteries!

Hope this helped!

Electric light flashing

This indicates that your battery isn't functioning properly or is going bad. You need to replace the battery. Bateries are batteries, some are better than others and some wear out faster than others, even though they may be the same brand, eventually all batteries need replacing.

Flashing Intro. but no music

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
