SOURCE: Bottom of freezer icing with thick sheet of ice
you have a froen drain thats why it is allways getting ice on the floor. you need to remove as much as you can then remove the back of the freezer so you can clear the drain pan and clear the drain. its not hard to do just you will have a lot of water on the bottom and your floor maybe. once you remove the ice from the pan have some very hot water and pour it in the pan utill the drain is free and the water go's down into the drip pan. shut the unit off untill tour done and be carefull around the coils. once its clear put the back on and plug the fridge back in. you will now have no more ice build up. make sure there is no food back there that can block the drain either. its a god time to clean the freezer out

SOURCE: Kenmore Elite Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
This first thing I would do is remove the panel on the back of the fridge to access the control board. It should be about half way up on the left hand side if you are looking at the back of the fridge. There should be four 1/4" screws to remove. In the middle of that board there should be a reset button. Press that button then let me know if that worked.

SOURCE: Water dispenser not working
There are two electric valves for your ice maker One for water to make ice and the other is for your water dispenser. They can get clugged and will not dispense water. The two valves are sold together for $50 and they are right in the back of your Refrigertor where the water pipe ends. Hard water can clugg those tiny valves
good luck

SOURCE: my refrigerator the evaporator keep
GE refrigerators are subject to a blown defrost heating element and thermostat.
Unplug the refrigerator, remove the freezer shelves. Remove the back wall of the freezer to access the defrost thermostat and defrost heater.
The heater is glass. It will have a dark burned appearance. The heater and thermostat both should be replaced. They come as a set.
