Is this a new router? Are you sure that you are using the correct power adapter, if you are then the adapter might be faulty! Try another adapter. Also, be sure that the wall socket you are plugged into is functioning...test it with a light. There is one other thing you might try. If you look on the back of the router, you will see a reset slot. You can use a pen and push and hold the reset for a moment to cause it to recycle. If none of these things solve the issue then I would suspect that the router is defective.

The board where the power button is located (same board for the other buttons too) is probably bad. It's all one board, which tells the power board to come on. If this happened after a power surge, and you're not using a surge protector, multiple boards can be bad. (You can't just plug these fragile TV and Blu-Ray players into the wall outlet. Eventually a surge will destroy them). Ps... A lot of people are suddenly making this same complaint with Vizio TV's.
At this level of charge their is not enough to start the boot process , if it doesn't charge at all their may be a fault with the Battery cell , however i had a similar issue, just leave it for a while, if their is still no indication that its charging or it wont turn on their could also be a problem with the Start Button
check if the batter has a tight fit if it moves around any take a piece of a playing card and fold it 3 to4 times and wege it between the battier and the wall causing pressure on the battier and its connection that would be the first thing i would try befor bring it to a shop
I was just wondering the same thing. I found something that said unplug it from the wall, remove the plugs from the wii, and let it sit for 2 minutes. Then plug it back in (to the wall, not a surge protector). It worked on mine.
Ok first I have one thing to say.Do not be offended by this next comment.Check if you have the batterys in the correct way.Otherwise you have a bad connection with your wire processors to your battery outlet.Go to a radioshack or game shop and get it checked out.
I suggest removing the battery when plugging it to the wall outlet or are you trying to charge it?
