Try going into "reset" master mode. otherwise you need to make sure your camera is shooting on the right setting for the light you are using. For example, when shooting in daylight with interior light setting (approx. 3200k) your photos will look off color and yellow or pink because sunlight is 5600k approx.,. . . contrary while shooting indoors with incandescant lighting if the camera is set for sunlight exposure (5600k) the picture will look blue. Make sure you read the manual on how to white balace, but first take the camera out of AutoExposure settings to do all the settings manually. Auto focus and auto exposure are for rookies and these types of errors will happen. Always try to do manual iris and manual focus for best results zoom in and get your focus on the subjects eyes then zoom out and frame up your shot.

I purchased a Vizio E70U-D3 70" CLASS on 10/10/2016. The TV has a blue hue to it - that is very dominant on the screen & we have tried to adjust contrast, color, brightness - nothing has worked!

Your going to have to take it in to a service center to get the white balance adjusted its not something you would want to try yourself, other option would be change the main board

That sounds like a white balance issue to me. Do you use manual white balance setting or auto white balance?

LG Flatiron monitors.1st one on Dell pc works great. 2nd one in same household to Compaq pc still flashes faint pink on parts that should be white.

Probably just some color balance is of. Reset white to something different on the compaq. Try downloading nvidia-settings and see what happens when you mess with color balances. Mess around with some settings til it looks right, or see if you can reset the white balance to a different preset on the monitor's menu

Canon A720 IS

This is normal and not a malfunction.

It is caused by the bright light and will only be recorded in video mode.

Try to keep your camera aimed away from bright spots. There is nothing you can do to completely avoid the pink lines, but just be reassured that there is nothing wrong with your camera.

Hope this helps!

Monitor too bright

Your video card (or driver) is probably to blame.
Try hooking a new monitor up to the computer to test this.
If so, try the advanced settings in control panel. Many cards give you the ability to manually alter the picture.

If that doesn't fix it, replace the card.

White balance

white balance usually refers to color not brightness. a good way to test your white balance though is to take a sheet of paper and zoom in on it. if it's white, than the white balance isn't the issue. it's most likely lens aperture, though I dont have a clue how to change that on that model camera. if nothing else you at least know what to look for now. sorry i can't be more help. good luck
