SOURCE: clock battery won't recharge
Change to Ni-Mah rechargeables at the highest capacity you can find. If still in trouble it will suggest the internal battery has died - and a replacement is a repair job which will be pricey if feasible So just live without that feature.

First, remove the SD card (if there is one) and see if it works. If it does, then the SD card is damaged. If it still doesnt work, read on..
Try regular alkaline batteries. If they work, it could indicate that your rechargeable batteries are dead and need to be replaced, or there is a problem with the charger.
If the regular batteries dont work either, try cleaning the contacts in the battery compartment of your camera, or gently scratching the contacts with a jeweller's screwdriver. If it still does not work, there is an issue with the camera's power board and it will require servicing.
SOURCE: CAMERA battery low message with new batteries
I have the same problem with mine!! Had it about 14 months now too!! Glad I'm not the only one... I don't know what to do! I have gotten brand new rechargeable batteries and instead of getting 250 shots, I only get like 20!
SOURCE: Recharged NIMH batteries (1.4V) are too low in voltage for Wii
#1 rule for batteries do not overcharge/overvolt, dispose of in fire or throw at your cat unless you like fireworks.
you will need new batteries for your wii, i have a couple of rechargeable wii battery packs that i bought from EB Games they work fine, they hold charge, and they save batteries, my fave part is where you buy 3-4 of them and you have two charging while you use the other two.
also a small tip, the nintendo wii is very anal about voltages, but a pocket flashlight isn't. you can take batteries that refuse to work in your wii and put them in your flashlight.
